WHAT: COFFEE RUN WHEN: BIGGENDEN AT 10.20AM ON FRIDAY, JULY 18
THEY started with two and now this group of Biggenden mothers has doubled to four.
Friends Carlee Sheppard, Kim McLennan, Jess Rollinson and Emma McLennan say it is an opportunity to get out of the house, take a morning walk, allow the children to bond and most importantly get that much needed mug of coffee.
KIM and her nine-week-old son William are enjoying their walks.
The new mother said now William was more awake he loved the surrounding scenery.
“He looks forward to going to the farm. Maybe my love of equestrian riding will rub off on him, but then I’m sure his dad and granddad (Matt and Merv McLennan) will have other ideas and steer him towards driving trucks,” she said.
“Big brother Jacob is the only one to get a giggle out of William.”
HEIDI loves strawberry milk just as much as she loves Dora. She will celebrate her second birthday on Monday. Heidi loves going to Nanny’s place as Nanny reads books, plays with the toys and pushes her on the swings. Heidi looks forward to the weekends and holidays as she misses her big sister Kyah now she is at school.
ELLA is the apple of her Nanna and Poppy’s eyes. She is excited to be celebrating her first birthday on Saturday with a party in Lions Park. Of course there will be fairy bread on the menu. She is a bit of a social butterfly and loves waving to everyone. The youngster didn’t just walk but started running at nine months of age.
EMMA said her four-month-old son Mason knew when he got in his pram it was time to go walking.
“Even though he sleeps part of the time he loves his outside time,” she said.
“It’s also great living next door to his grandma and pa as it’s not far to go for a cuddle or two.”
