Hudson stamps his class at titles
FIVE matches, nine wickets, 36 overs, 12 maidens, 75 runs.
That’s the statistics of 12-year-old Hudson Meyer at the National under-12 Cricket Titles.
Craig Meyer I think this bonding made a huge difference.
Hudson made a name for himself as a young cricketer with a good grip on the ball on the way to claiming the most wickets in the Darwin tournament on June 15-23.
Hudson’s father, Craig Meyer, who is very supportive of his son, said: “After the boys were picked in the Queensland team the boys trained in Bundaberg for a week before heading off to Darwin.
“I think this training and bonding made a huge difference to the team’s performance,” he said.
Hudson’s mother Danielle Meyer said: “Hudson was excited about being picked in the Queensland team and his confidence has grown 10-fold.”
RISING STAR: Meyer in action.
