Club ticks off great projects

Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS -

OVER the past year Rotary has supported two students from Mundubbera, Casey Barbour and Laura Maeyke, through the Youth Program of Enrichment; restored Bicentennial Park to its pre-flood condition; presented a pride of workmanship award to Melanie Pope; and staged or helped stage many community events.

Incoming president Allen Jenkin has praised members and the outgoing board. He also invited all members to continue with the high standards set over the past 61 years. “We will continue to support our community in every way we can”. “My goal for 2014-15 is for our club to build our local profile and our membership.”

This year’s moto is Light Up Rotary, to get Rotary in the spotlight and let people know what the club is doing.
