CYCLE Queensland came to town on September 11 and spent the day exploring Biggenden and surrounds.
What a sight it was with pushbikes five deep outside the pubs and eateries.
Over 700 extra throats to quench and tummies to fill.
Everyone was in holiday mode and the town was abuzz.
This is the fourth time Cycle Queensland has come to Biggenden and we look forward to their next visit, whenever that may be.
The Biggenden & District Telephone Book is currently at the printers and we are expecting a proof of the book some time this week. We may not have the books for sale until late October.
The roses in the main street are a real picture at present thanks to the council’s garden and grounds team, and to Duncan Simpson who volunteers his time to attend to the roses and the garden beds.
