New faces at Sunday service

ABERCORN Sunday service is held in a rustic, roughly sawn but charming timber church which has no electricity or water.

Some new faces in the congregation belonged to four young people who came and sat in the back row of the church, quietly spoken and respectful.

The children were delightful but were hesitant to join the 24 regular attendees and stayed much to themselves. At that time no one knew they wanted to be Baptised.

The following Sunday the children sang and made a poster to welcome people to the little church.

“The members were touched by their thoughtfulness and singing from the heart,” Reverend Carol Palmer said.
