1 Be­yond­blue bus visit Mon­day–Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 6–8

VISIT the be­yond­blue bus in Monto on Mon­day at Lions Park, 12.30–2.30pm. On Tues­day it will be at Bur­nett State Col­lege, 9am–3pm, be­fore vis­it­ing Mun­dub­bera State School on Wed­nes­day at 8am.

2 Day/night golf Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 4

EN­JOY two rounds of so­cial golf, the first at 3pm and the sec­ond after dark as Gayn­dah hosts a three-ball am­brose. The 2013 awards and a bar­be­cue will be held be­tween the com­pe­ti­tions.

3 Fish­ing Clas­sic Week­end, Oc­to­ber 4–5

WET a line, catch a fish, win a prize, then eat the fish at the Mun­dub­bera 3 Rivers Fish­ing Clas­sic. Sign up for the com­pe­ti­tion at Martins Oval.

4 Monthly medal Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 4

HEAD to Biggen­den Golf Course for the last monthly medal of the year. It’s also Pa­tron and Pa­troness Day, so head along to support Gor­don Dowling and June Kim­ber. It starts at 12.30pm for a 1pm tee-off.

5 Labour Day Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 6

FOR Mon­day’s pub­lic hol­i­day check out the many attractions this re­gion has to of­fer be­fore the kids go back to school on Tues­day.
