Rectify injustice

Central and North Burnett Times - - VOICE OF THE BURNETT -

IF THE state and local government are denying Mr Baldwin the right to build his concrete batching plant in an area zoned industrial land in Luthje Rd after he has conformed to all the required regulations, they have a moral obligation to offer him a viable flood-free alternative.

So that his business can be retained in Monto.

Anything less is a denial of natural justice and one that the respective governments are not serious about trying to help small rural towns.

It is my understanding the area zoned industrial was in place before the council allowed residences to be built on Luthje Rd so the council has to rectify the injustice. Derek Bound,

Monto
