Flooded lucerne farm

Central and North Burnett Times - - REAL ESTATE -

THIS former lucerne farm is looking for someone new to love it.

No work has been done since the January 2013 floods but previously has grown very productive crops. Consisting of 64ha (160 acres) all of which has been previously cultivated and with mains throughout.

There is a 100ML Burnett River allocation plus two bores which had pumped 25,000 gph but are not currently equipped.

The Valley centre pivot irrigator previously had five spans and covered 28ha (70 acres) - now there just the stand and one span.

Soils are very deep fertile flats rising to heavier fertile clay.

A great opportunity to pick up a cheap farm and bring it back into production.
