to make an ap­pli­ca­tion un­der the new plan­ning scheme when it is adopted, though the level of as­sess­ment may be “im­pact” that per­mits sub­mit­ters, the level of pos­i­tive support for the de­vel­op­ment would elim­i­nate the ef­fect of sub­mis­sions by those that played a ma­jor part in the Code as­sess­able ap­pli­ca­tions re­fusal.

Hav­ing said this, my great­est con­cern is the com­pe­tence of the coun­cil­lors them­selves when de­ter­min­ing the ap­pli­ca­tion.

If they were do­ing their job, they would not have re­lied on the re­port as it sim­ply was not of an ac­cept­able stan­dard and pro­vided in­suf­fi­cient de­tail to be used in mak­ing such a decision.

Surely at least one would have ques­tioned it.

The com­mu­nity is en­ti­tled to bet­ter than this and will get their op­por­tu­nity at the March 2016 lo­cal gov­ern­ment elec­tions.
