Mundubbera aims to shape responsible, caring children

Central and North Burnett Times - - SCHOOL ENROLMENT -

MUNDUBBERA State School P-10 is growing into one of the finest schools in the North Burnett.

The school mantra is respect, discipline and developing a healthy community of thinkers, striving for students’ personal bests.

Mundubbera State P-10 is developing a culture of high expectations and high performance where every child is learning every day in every classroom.

Starting in Prep, the students are nurtured and personal skills are honed.

Prep teacher Regina Enchelmaier is assisted by two teacher aides and the class is always on the move.

With 30 students next year, the school is being set up for large classes in the coming decade.

Reading and writing through Jolly Phonics, sight words and sounds is not only good learning but it is a challenge and good fun.

The school has a sporting program for the development of healthy sportsmanship and the development of healthy bodies.

It is expected that members of the school community display honesty, self-discipline and accountability for their actions at all times.

They need to be diligent, work hard and show self-management skills.

Mundubbera students are taught respect for their fellow students, teachers and the community.
