Store steers sold very well, while store heifers were solid for better types and prime cattle remained very firm.
Cattle were drawn from Mt Perry, Boyne Valley, Biloela & Monto districts.
Bulls sold to very strong rates topping at 233c/kg or $1800 for Santa bulls to go back to the paddock while better meatworks bulls generally sold from 160 to 195c/kg.
L Dahtler supplied 760kg Euro cross bullocks to realise $1560 or 205c/kg.
Peter and Nerida Jamieson sold Charbray Bullocks 590kg for 204c/kg or $1200.
Ron Talbot penned young Brangus cross trade steers 437kg which made 203c/kg or $888.
Phyllis Williams sold 560kg 6 tooth heifers for 193c/kg or $1080.
