NORTH Bur­nett agents Monto Cat­tle & Coun­try yarded 700 head of cat­tle for their fort­nightly fat and store sale.

Store steers sold very well, while store heifers were solid for bet­ter types and prime cat­tle re­mained very firm.

Cat­tle were drawn from Mt Perry, Boyne Val­ley, Biloela & Monto dis­tricts.

Bulls sold to very strong rates top­ping at 233c/kg or $1800 for Santa bulls to go back to the pad­dock while bet­ter meat­works bulls gen­er­ally sold from 160 to 195c/kg.

L Dahtler sup­plied 760kg Euro cross bul­locks to re­alise $1560 or 205c/kg.

Peter and Nerida Jamieson sold Char­bray Bul­locks 590kg for 204c/kg or $1200.

Ron Tal­bot penned young Bran­gus cross trade steers 437kg which made 203c/kg or $888.

Phyl­lis Wil­liams sold 560kg 6 tooth heifers for 193c/kg or $1080.

Odd sin­gle heavy cows sold to 180c/kg or $1145.

R & R Be­necke sold Bran­gus cows 527kg for 173c/kg or $912.

RA & DA Edgar penned 428kg Brah­man cows which re­alise 172c/kg or $737 and 383kg store cows to re­turn $500.

Sandy Mun­tel­wit Cat­tle Co sold Brah­man cows 425kg to 165c/kg or $700.

Ron Tal­bot penned Bran­gus trade heifers 417kg to re­turn $750 or 180c/kg.

Four tooth Santa feed­lot bul­locks 508kg ACC John & Roxy Sinclair sold to 180c/kg or $915.

Dale Brown & Fam­ily sold Drought­mas­ter two tooth steers 470kg to 197c/kg or $929.

Den­nis Skin­ner sold Bran­gus Char­bray no 3 steers 430kg to 204c/kg or $880.

Neville & Jenny Keit­ley “Spring Sierra” Monto sold qual­ity Char­bray no 3 steers 380kg for 195c/kg or $745.

Jim Chick & Fam­ily sold Char­bray cross no 3 steers 380kg for 201c/kg or $760.

Rod­ney Ride­out- Goolah Grazing sold qual­ity Santa weaner steers 235kg to 213 c/kg or $500 and Red Brah­man, Santa cross steers 225kg to 204c/kg or $460. R & N Tucker sold Char­bray weaner steers 245kg for 208 & 197c/kg to av­er­age $503.

Fletcher’s Funny Farm’s sold Char­bray Cows & Calves for $710 and young PTIC Char­bray cows for $700.

Kurt Goody sold Char­bray 432kg heifers for 181c/kg or $782.

John Pick­er­ing sold Santa no 3 , 330kg heifers from 173c/kg $573.

Dale Brown & fam­ily sold Drought­mas­ter no 4 heifers 232kg which re­turned $370 or 160c/kg.

Goolah Grazing’s 225kg Santa weaner heifers sold to 166c/kg or $375.

SD & LA Tay­lor penned Drought­mas­ter no 4 heifers which re­turned $383 or 159c/kg.
