Six codes to clear
CHANGES to vegetation reforms have given farmers six self-assessable codes for land clearing to reduce the need to apply for permits.
The reforms were brought in by the State Government and came into effect in August. They should save landholders both time and money.
The self-assessable codes include south-east Queensland thinning, environmental works, extractive industry and new vegetation maps, which can be ordered online.
