Pos­tle happy with lo­ca­tion

THE RMWilliams cen­tre came alive last Sun­day af­ter­noon, for the open­ing of lo­cal artist Chris Pos­tle’s art ex­hi­bi­tion.

“In 25 years of work, this is prob­a­bly the best venue I’ve ever done a show in,” the Monto-raised artist said.

All the art at the cen­tre is for sale, apart from the paint­ing of Alan Ni­blett, which Mr Pos­tle once en­tered in the na­tion’s premier art com­pe­ti­tion, the Archibald.

Lo­cals, Pos­tle fam­ily mem­bers, other artists, as well as peo­ple from Gayn­dah, came along to support the event.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will stay open un­til the end of Jan­uary.

Monto-raised artist Chris Pos­tle's Archibald-en­tered paint­ing will be on dis­play at theRMWil­liams Cen­tre un­til the end of Jan­uary.

Dot Hamil­ton and Sally Coates said this paint­ing was one of their favourites.

Carmel Hafner and Suzie Capenell trav­elled from Gayn­dah for the ex­hi­bi­tion open­ing.
