BIGGENDEN and District Kindergarten and Daycare had a special visitor to its Christmas break-up on Saturday afternoon.

The man in red arrived aboard a fire truck with siren blaring to hand out books and lollies for the children.

At a special ceremony, youngsters going to “big school” next year donned their capes for their graduation ceremony, where each received a certificate.

The children also entertained those present with a number of items.

While waiting for Santa to arrive, the children and their families enjoyed a sausage sizzle and snacks.

The Biggenden Apex Club’s jumping castle was a hit with the youngsters.
