Singers charm Halls crowd

Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS -

PATRONS at the Degilbo Hall for the Festival of Small Halls concert were treated to a delightful night of music.

Cr Lofty Wendt was full of praise for the artists, including Dallarnil singer/songwriter Haelwen-Sian, who opened the night.

The Mae Trio of Rigby sisters Elsie and Maggie, with Anita Hillman on bass, delighted their audience with their brilliant harmonies.

Their song about rain may have influenced the area’s downpours.

Canadian singer Del Barber entertained the crowd with his story-telling and singing.

Cr Wendt wants ideas of how to grow this event.
