Central and North Burnett Times - - VOICE OF THE BURNETT -

WE KNOW what is going to headline all our media for the next 20-odd days, 24 hours-a-day – the upcoming election on Saturday, January 31.

Called two months early, one columnist has suggested “with little planning and much haste, this election is the political equivalent of a shotgun wedding”.

With politicians on the election bandwagon and the purse strings opening, what possible projects would readers like to see in our own region.

It’s anyone’s guess who is going to govern Queensland on February 1.

Will it be a Labor government or if Campbell Newman falls down in his seat of Ashgrove, will we see our own member, Jeff Seeney, leading the LNP?
