WELL, 2015 has rolled around and I certainly hope everybody is looking forward to a fruitful year.

With a state election set for the end of January, we have an exciting time ahead.
Council has worked well with the current government.
Besides the $12m upgrade to the Mt Perry-Monto Rd, the Royalties for the Regions program has also approved funding of $8.23m for renovation works on Monto, Mundubbera and Gayndah airports.
Mingo Crossing Recreation Area is operating again with a new caretaker, and council workers have done an excellent job building the new boat ramp and establishing the camping area.
Stray dogs in town seem to be a growing problem and one that needs closer attention. It is on the agenda for reorganisation and we will report further on changes.
