ROB Randall has scored his second hole-in-one on Gayndah’s golf course.

After lamenting that no-one had seen his previous hole-in-one, Randall was thrilled this one was on the record.

“It went around the tree, off the bank, hit the flag and dropped in,” said Randall, who was first to hit the ball down the eighth fairway.

“It wasn’t a pretty shot, but I’ll take it!”

In addition to being December 18’s runner-up, Randall also received a bottle of rum and a hole-in-one trophy.

Club representative Di Baker said Randall’s was the second hole-in-one recorded for 2014.

“Hole 3/12 is probably the easiest par 3 we have, but strangely the last few have been on 8/17.”

HOLE-IN-ONE: Rob Randall was thrilled to have his hole-in-one on Gayndah's eighth hole recorded.
