Sis­ter act for Miss Show­girl

LYNETTE Vi­cary is a well-known Mun­dub­bera girl who has the rep­u­ta­tion as some­one who will al­ways get in and lend a hand.

Ms Vi­cary is the 2015 Miss Show­girl and like her sis­ters be­fore her will be an en­er­getic rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Mun­dub­bera.

One of seven sis­ters, Lynette said she was fol­low­ing in four of her sib­lings’ foot­steps.

“My sis­ters Jose­lyn and Megan were both Mun­dub­bera Miss Show­girl and Hanna and Emily both en­tered in the com­pe­ti­tion,” she said.

Ms Vi­cary works at Gavin Ford Mo­biles in Li­ons St and she is known for her po­lite and friendly at­ti­tude to cus­tomers.

Gavin Ford said he couldn’t go wrong when he em­ployed Lynette as she al­ways had a friendly smile.

“She is an ex­cel­lent mem­ber of my staff and I am im­pressed by her work ethic,” Mr Ford said.

“Lynette is al­ways on time and she is will­ing to learn and have a go at any­thing.”

Ms Vi­cary was on the job re­cently plac­ing rib­bons on stud cat­tle at the show­grounds.

“I am thrilled to be do­ing the job as Miss Show­girl for my com­mu­nity and if I can show­case Mun­dub­bera in a good light I will be sat­is­fied that I have done a good job,” she said.

“My two younger sis­ters will soon take up the chal­lenge and I will be happy to see all my sis­ters as show­girls, to carry on the tra­di­tion.”

Mun­dub­bera Show will be held on the week­end of May 8-9 and Ms Vi­cary will be there show­cas­ing Mun­dub­bera.
