Win surprises owner Joy
SHIELMOOR Lady Asheba made her Scots-born owner proud by being named reserve champion of breed at the Gayndah Show.
The shetland sheep dog, affectionately known as Asheba, surprised her owner, Joy Penny.
“I didn’t have any great expectation – I thought she’d play up, but she surprised me,” Ms Penny said.
“I’ve had dogs for over 40

“I had collies first, but they were just too much, so it was back to my sheltie.
“I love my wee sheltie – they’re finely strung.”
Ms Penny, who has been in Australia for 50 years, said showing dogs was a good pastime.
