Dustier than Ever mu­sic event

MUN­DUB­BERA Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion, with the sup­port of the North Bur­nett Re­gional Coun­cil through its Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment Ini­tia­tive Bro­ker­age Fund­ing, has been able to bring the Dustier than Ever mu­sic event to towns in the North Bur­nett.

Dustier than Ever is a trib­ute show by the Chris Cook Band, pre­sent­ing the mu­sic of leg­endary Aus­tralian coun­try singer Slim Dusty.

The se­ries of shows will start in Monto RSL on May 24 at 2pm, Coalstoun Lakes Sol­dier’s Me­mo­rial Hall on May 25 com­menc­ing at 7pm and in the Eidsvold Bowls Club on May 29 com­menc­ing at 7.30pm.

The con­cept of bring­ing the North­ern New South Wales band to the re­gion, with the sup­port of Mun­dub­bera Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion and North Bur­nett Re­gional Coun­cil, is to en­cour­age pro­fes­sional mu­si­cians to the re­gion and pro­vide sup­port and in­crease the re­silience of the lo­cal com­mu­nity groups.

The cost of tick­ets to the show is $10 and the venues will of­fer meals and in Monto af­ter­noon tea will be avail­able.

All funds raised at the shows will re­main with the com­mu­nity groups.

Tick­ets will be avail­able at the door.

Mun­dub­bera Com­mu­nity Devel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion and the North Bur­nett Re­gional Coun­cil en­cour­age all com­mu­nity mem­bers who en­joy coun­try mu­sic to sup­port and main­tain the re­silience of their lo­cal com­mu­nity groups.
