Dustier than Ever music event
MUNDUBBERA Community Development Association, with the support of the North Burnett Regional Council through its Community Development Initiative Brokerage Funding, has been able to bring the Dustier than Ever music event to towns in the North Burnett.
Dustier than Ever is a tribute show by the Chris Cook Band, presenting the music of legendary Australian country singer Slim Dusty.
The series of shows will start in Monto RSL on May 24 at 2pm, Coalstoun Lakes Soldier’s Memorial Hall on May 25 commencing at 7pm and in the Eidsvold Bowls Club on May 29 commencing at 7.30pm.
The concept of bringing the Northern New South Wales band to the region, with the support of Mundubbera Community Development Association and North Burnett Regional Council, is to encourage professional musicians to the region and provide support and increase the resilience of the local community groups.
The cost of tickets to the show is $10 and the venues will offer meals and in Monto afternoon tea will be available.
All funds raised at the shows will remain with the community groups.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Mundubbera Community Development Association and the North Burnett Regional Council encourage all community members who enjoy country music to support and maintain the resilience of their local community groups.
