Golden re­triever wins Best in Show

JAMES, a young golden re­triever, showed his style to win Best in Gayn­dah Show.

Owner Anthea Adamopou­los said three-and-a-half-year-old James had won mul­ti­ple Best in Shows and Supreme Cham­pion.

“He’s the youngest golden re­triever dog to make his Supreme Cham­pion,” Ms Adamopou­los said.

“At the Royal Easter Show, he won best male golden re­triever and the dog chal­lenge. “He’s a trav­el­lin’ man.” James, whose next ap­pear­ance will be at the Kil­coy Show, dis­played his fond­ness for his owner with a happy cud­dle.

“I’ve been show­ing dogs all my life – I’ve been born and bred into it,” Ms Adamopou­los said.

“I love that (golden re­triev­ers) are a fam­ily dog. Dur­ing the week, my chil­dren play with the dogs. My youngest child is five and my old­est 23.”
