A REAL country girl at heart, 20-year-old Caitlin Summers is very comfortable in the show environment and would love to be Miss Showgirl.
Miss Summers said she was living out her dream on a cattle station and feedlot west of Eidsvold.
“I am studying very hard as well as working at Maroon Station, loving the horse work and station life,” she said.
“I have always been interested in rural shows, often exhibiting photography and riding in pony club events.”
Ms Summers has been helping with some of the organisation of the show and scheduling events.
“The work that goes into a small country show is amazing and everything has to be fine-tuned for a great day,” she said.
“I am studying to be a book keeper so that I can live on a rural property and work in the stock and station sector and help the country people with their finances.”
