Central and North Burnett Times - - EIDSVOLD SHOW -

A LEAP of faith brought Belinda Squire to Eidsvold after answering an advertisement on the website Gumtree.

All the way from South Australia, and having only ever trained as a personal trainer, she took on a job as a nanny.

Eidsvold mustering contractors Jody and Michael Morgan were looking for someone and Ms Squire fit the bill perfectly.

Ms Squire said she was of the mind that when one door closed another would open.

“I have come to Queensland not really knowing what will come next,” Ms Squire said.

“I live my life with the faith that the world is mine to explore and I will take my chances whereever that world would take me.”

Miss Showgirl is an opportunity for all contestants to meet new people and experience the country way of life first hand.

The girl who is lucky enough to win the title of Eidsvold Miss Showgirl will get to travel and compete in many other arenas.
