Fri­day, May 1 SOC­CER rules the night with North Bur­nett ver­sus The World kick­ing off at 6.30pm. Gayn­dah sportsground gates open at 6pm for a for free Aussie bar­be­cue. Come and cel­e­brate the cit­rus sea­son.

2 Art Ex­hi­bi­tion

Fri­day, May 1 GAYN­DAH Art Gallery un­veils lith­o­graphs gifted by sis­ter city Zon­hoven and opens two ex­hi­bi­tions at 7pm: Ross Driver’s A Boil­er­maker’s Bric-a-brac and Carmel Hafner’s ‘This and That’. Free en­try.

3 High Tea

Satur­day May 2 COME and sup­port the en­trants in the Biggen­den Show So­ci­ety Miss Show­girl and Ju­nior Ru­ral Am­bas­sador judg­ing start­ing at 1.30pm. Tick­ets $15 p/h. Bar, stalls, scrump­tious af­ter­noon tea.

4 Eidsvold Show

Sun­day, May 3 The gates will fly open at 7am for the 2015 show with ac­tion a plenty promised from the one day show.

5 Bike for Burns

Week­end, May 2-3 QUEENS­LAND Fire and Emer­gency Ser­vices char­ity bike ride camps at Monto on Satur­day and Mun­dub­bera on Sun­day, with dona­tions to Royal Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal Burns Group.

KICK-OFF: Soc­cer teams burst through the Cit­rus Har­vest Kick-off ban­ner.
