FIONA GETHINGS is study­ing for her Cer­tifi­cate 3 in Early Child­hood Ed­u­ca­tion and Care. Her am­bi­tions in­clude work­ing in a child­care cen­tre as she re­ally en­joys work­ing with chil­dren. Fiona would like to un­der­take more stud­ies to be­come a kinder­garten teacher. Her hob­bies in­clude horse rid­ing, tak­ing in pony club, hack­ing and team pen­ning, along with cooking and spend­ing time with fam­ily and friends. Fiona en­joys vol­un­teer­ing and work­ing within the com­mu­nity hav­ing been in­volved with the Biggen­den PCYC cadets and is an ac­tive mem­ber of the Biggen­den Hos­pi­tal Aux­il­iary.

COOPER-ANNE FOTHER­ING­HAM’S world re­volves around wa­ter ski­ing. The 18-year-old Queens­land cham­pion spends ev­ery pos­si­ble free op­por­tu­nity on the wa­ter at Par­adise Dam or Sandy Hook at Bund­aberg. She at­tends the gym four days a week and one day would like to open her own ski school. Her am­bi­tion is to take her wa­ter ski­ing to the high­est level. Next year Cooper-Anne is look­ing for­ward to trav­el­ling to Bel­gium and Amer­ica where she has been spon­sored to race.

THE smil­ing face be­hind the bar at the Com­mer­i­cal Ho­tel is SA­MAN­THA OLSEN, who is also a wait­ress there. Her hob­bies in­clude camp­ing, swim­ming, movies, writ­ing, read­ing and drama. Sam's am­bi­tion is to com­plete her Cer­tifi­cate 3 in beauty ser­vices. The 19-year-old would also like to travel and take in as much of the world as pos­si­ble. The place she would most like to go would be St Peters­burg in Rus­sia, to check out the cul­ture.
