A SECOND Business for Creative workshop by Seraya Young has been organised for the Mundubbera RSL on Saturday, May 16.
For those who attended previously – Seraya is offering free 30 minute one-on-one follow up consultations for those who book in first on Friday, May 15 between 8am and 3pm.
Seraya is a recording artist and songwriter, trained and accomplished actress and working radio announcer . She is also a qualified accountant and business advisor so her skill set and experience covers many areas. Topics to be covered include: is yours a hobby or a business in the eyes of the tax department and can you expand if you want to, setting up a business name, registering for GST or not, various creative business allowable deductions, record keeping, your tax obligations, networking and opportunities.
Creative people include: visual artists, crafters, sculptors, photographers, musicians, singers, songwriters, creative cooks/cake decorators, florists, writers, dancers, actors, poets, textile artists, metal and wood workers, leather workers and any other kind of creative fields. The workshop is free with a $15 catering charge for those who wish to share in a catered lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided at no cost.
