FAMILY members and loved ones who served in the First World War and other wars were honoured in a roll call at St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Gayndah, on Anzac weekend.
Names were read out during prayers, as photos up to 100 years old were displayed on the big screen.
Rector Canon Janne Whitehead said congregation members had been asked to contribute the photos.
“It was a meaningful way to remember those who had been near and dear to many ordinary people, and to continue our thanks for their service and our prayers for peace,” Canon Whitehead said.
