Central and North Burnett Times - - JUNIOR SPORT - Erica Murree

BIGGENDEN Social Darts Club enjoys the friendly side of their sport recently and hosted a one-day event with Gympie Gold Diggers at the Grand Hotel.

Three rounds were played but at the end of the day, Gold Diggers proved too strong winning against their hosts, 41-27.

For a bit of a laugh, both sides played a grudge match, starting at 1001.

The team who pegged out won the trophy.

Luckily for Biggenden, their player Ben Fleming won the trophy which just happened to be a plastic cup.

When Biggenden returns to Gympie in November, they will play again to see who holds onto the cup.

Both sides had plenty of fun.

The club thanked Gympie Gold Diggers for an enjoyable day of darts and the Grand Hotel for the use of its venue.

Beth Stralow and Leann Duncan add up Beth's score.

Biggenden's Geoff Duncan concentrates on his throw.

SOCIAL DARTS: Coral Sengstock takes aim for the bullseye at the social darts day.
