Tansey tops teams
REPRESENTATIVE polocrosse players are set to storm the field at Tansey Polocrosse Club’s annual carnival.
With teams coming from as far as Western Australia, Tansey Polocrosse Club president Justin Hafey said the competition would be at the top level.
But as the state title holders, Justin hopes his team will be able to hold onto their reputation.
“I think we have got a lot of good state players and we do a lot of coaching in our club,” he said.
“So I’d be pretty confident we’ll have at least two A-grade teams.”
Queensland selectors will also be scouting potential representative players for the nationals to be held in Albury next year.
The Tansey Polocrosse Carnival will be held at the weekend at the showgrounds.
