UP FOR grabs is more than $10,000 in prize money at the two-day campdraft at the Gayn­dah Show­grounds.

The 2015 Gayn­dah Sil­ver Whip Campdraft will be held on Satur­day, May 30 and Sun­day, May 31.

There will be five sport­ing events, with place rib­bons from first to fourth, mini campdraft for seven years and un­der, with tro­phies for over­all win­ners.

Pony club stan­dard hel­met must be worn by the younger rid­ers.

For ju­nior and ju­ve­nile classes a $5 nom­i­na­tion fee will be taken on the day.

There will also be a ladies draft, and a novice campdraft on Satur­day.

The maiden campdraft on Satur­day starts at 6.30am sharp.

Day two will see the ju­niors (8 years and un­der 13 years) and ju­ve­nile (13 years and un­der 17 years) sport­ing events and they will en­ter the rodeo ring from 10am.

Painted beast com­pe­ti­tion will be held through­out.

Com­peti­tors who choose the painted beast must com­plete the full course to col­lect the prize.

Lunch and din­ner can be pur­chased at the can­teen, which will be op­er­at­ing all week­end, and a li­censed bar and live mu­sic will keep the rid­ers on their toes.

Pow­ered camp­sites can be booked and sta­bling and town wa­ter are avail­able.
