Planned burn in park for June
THE Wall Camping Area, at Kroombit Tops National Park, will be closed for access to the public from June 13–23.
The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing advises this closure is because a planned burn program will be carried out at the Wall Camping Area during that period.
The exact location is the Bomber site, at 4WD Loop Road.
Members of the public are advised not to enter the closed areas during this time and make alternate travel or camping arrangements.
Griffiths Creek and Razorback Camping areas, Kroombit Top Lookout, and access through Tablelands Rob, Clewleys Gap/Mahoon/Cedarvale Road and the Razorback Track will be open during the period.
To gain further information, the public is advised to contact Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service - Moonford office on 4167 8162 or 0428 789 316.
