BAILEY Creek Piggeries are an oink above the rest – and they have an award to prove it.

They took out a category at a prestigious ceremony, winning the striving for excellence award at the Apiam Animal Health conference for pig producers.

“This award recognises a producer and their employees who have continually implemented innovative technologies and practices to achieve high efficiencies across pig production,” the award description said.

“This enterprise seeks out methods to excel and then demonstrates commitment by implementing system for the future.

“They are committed to a standard of excellence that inspires confidence. They mark themselves hard, and then strike to better themselves.”

Piggery owner Ian Hill congratulated his staff on their consistent hard work.

The awards were held on the Gold Coast in May.
