Driving activities

LONG drives on regional and rural roads can be tiring, especially if you’re going down the highways on cruise control.

We’ve all seen the ads telling us to stop and take a break, as driver fatigue can be a serious issue which can cost lives.

Staying alert and awake while driving is very important.

I drive back to Brisbane regularly and these are some of the things I do that keep my mind active.

 Listen to podcasts (a lot of smart phones now have dedicated podcast apps on them).  Listen to audiobooks.  Carpool karaoke to my favourite songs (without a celebrity with me).

 Dictate ideas and thoughts on a simple tape recorder.

I find that these simple activities keep me alert and awake while driving.
