Free adult mind­ful­ness work­shops

UNIT­ING Care Com­mu­nity (Life­line) will be pro­vid­ing free Mind­ful­ness and Pos­i­tive Living work­shops in Gayndah and Biggen­den through­out July, Au­gust and Septem­ber. The eight hour-long work­shops in each town con­sist of a pro­gres­sive theme per week, help­ful tips and tools to be more pos­i­tive, and ways to deal with the ev­ery­day stresses of life. Each down to earth ses­sion is backed up with an in­for­ma­tive and prac­ti­cal hand­out to take home, in­ter­est­ing and re­laxed ac­tiv­i­ties, a mind­ful­ness med­i­ta­tion, and a re­lax­ation med­i­ta­tion at the end. Free cuppa also pro­vided. Biggen­den’s first work­shop is Thurs­day, July 7 at 1pm at the Biggen­den Place con­fer­ence room at 21 Ed­ward St, Gayndah’s first work­shop is on Fri­day, July 8 at 1pm the Gayndah Arts Cen­tre down­stairs mu­sic room.
