HAVE you got some­one in your com­mu­nity who de­serves to be recog­nised?

The Re­gional Achieve­ment and Com­mu­nity Awards, now in their 15th year, are look­ing for nom­i­nees from across the re­gion.

The awards are all about recog­nis­ing our silent achiev­ers, the salt of the earth. They’re about the pas­sion of the peo­ple whose com­mit­ment to mak­ing re­gional Queens­land a bet­ter place, is an in­spi­ra­tion to us all. If some­one has made an im­pact or a dif­fer­ence in your life or has im­pressed you with their com­mu­nity spirit, why not nom­i­nate them.

Nom­i­na­tions are open in the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories: Ac­cess Com­mu­nity Ser­vices Cul­tural Di­ver­sity award; Prime Su­per Em­ployer Ex­cel­lence in Aged Care award; ATEC Rail Group (ARG) Lead­er­ship and In­no­va­tion award; Aus­tralia Pa­cific LNG Re­gional Ser­vice award; Glad­stone Print­ing Ser­vices Trade and Ca­reer Achieve­ment award; MOA Bench­mark­ing Com­mu­nity Ser­vice in Aged Care award; Univer­sity of South­ern Queens­land Ed­u­ca­tional In­no­va­tion award and Prime Su­per Com­mu­nity Group of the Year award.

Great prizes are up for grabs with each cat­e­gory winner re­ceiv­ing $2500 from the Com­mon­wealth Bank. To sub­mit a nom­i­na­tion, sim­ply go online to www.award­saus­ se­lect Queens­land Re­gional Achieve­ment and Com­mu­nity Awards and then “Nom­i­nate Now”.
