MONTO WOMAN'S SUDDEN DEATH SHOCKS COMMUNITY
MONTO’S community has been shocked at the death of beloved resident Joy Hill.
The mother of five suddenly died on July 5 from health complications.
Her sister Ann-Maree Hill will remember Joy for the happiness she brought to others.
“Joy was a loving, caring single parent who went out of her way to help anyone,” Ann-Maree said.
“Her life was based around her love for her children and her love for animals and her passion for her work in aged care.
“Joy will be remembered for not only loving her family, but for always being willing to go above and beyond to help those in need.
“With this in her heart is what made her a loving person with a heart of gold.”
Tributes have flowed from the community, with words of condolence passed to the family.
Meagan Ellerton said: “In these moments of loss, words are useless.
“Sincere condolences to the family grieving an immeasurable loss.
“May good memories of your mum, sister, daughter, friend bring you comfort in this sad time.”
Just over a week prior, Joy made a post asking for expressions of interest in a Debutant Ball for next year.
A Go Fund Me page has been set-up to help the family in the difficult time.
