Slap causes a DV order breach
AWOMAN went for a casual drive in August last year with her young son, when she saw the boy’s father and her emotions took over.
“I got upset and slapped him when I shouldn’t have. I didn’t think,” she said.
The woman, aged in her 20s, pleaded guilty to breaching a domestic violence order when she appeared in Monto Magistrates Court on June 29.
However, she also has a domestic violence order on the aggrieved and Magistrate Melanie Ho took that into consideration.
“You should stay away from each other.”
Magistrate Ho put the woman on a good-behaviour bond.
