HAVE you got a group of walk­ing bud­dies?

Have you wres­tled with the Gayn­dah countryside on foot once or twice?

Do you en­joy brav­ing the el­e­ments of na­ture get­ting from point A to point B?

Then the Ks for Kids, Chappy walk-a-thon (or bike-a-thon) is just what you need to spice up your life!

Grab a team (or go it alone) and win some amaz­ing prizes!

All you need to get you started is a spon­sor­ship form (from the Post Of­fice, pri­mary and high schools).

Get peo­ple you spon­sor you (all pro­ceeds go to Gayn­dah Chap­pies!) to walk/ride/crawl/hop the length of the course.

If your team dresses up you get a prize too.

Plus col­lect over $100 in spon­sor­ship to go into the draw to win one of two Penny boards.

Spon­sor­ship and en­try de­tails are avail­able from the Gayn­dah Post Of­fice, both pri­mary schools and the high school.

The race be­gins at 7.45am at the Burnett state Col­lege and will run along Porter St, past the golf course, along Lit­tle Wood­miller Rd, into Wig­ton Rd and will fin­ish at the Gayn­dah Pri­mary school.

Rest stops will be avail­able ev­ery 2.5 kilo­me­tres.

Min­i­mum spon­sor­ship is $20 for sin­gle run­ner or $40 for a fam­ily or team of four.

The full course is a 10km walk or 20km bike ride while half course is a 5km walk or 10km bike ride and fi­nally the quar­ter course is 2.5km long.

TheWalk-a-thon is on Satur­day, July 30.
