Gayn­dah golf re­sults

AFTER another count back from a close game Gayn­dah Golf Club mem­ber Di Baker won the Tues­day Vet­er­ans game with a fi­nal score of 21.

Vic Bryant was the un­lucky run­ner up who also fin­ished the Tues­day round on 21.

For the pin shot clos­est to the hole, for the 14th hole this week, Bev Em­mer­ton se­cured her spot with a dis­tance of just 71 cen­time­tres while Jim My­ers had the most putts with 22.

The Thurs­day Vets was again a pop­u­lar round with 27 play­ers com­pet­ing.

Leigh Far­rell was the days win­ner after post­ing a fi­nal round score of 20 to beat out joint run­ners up Steve Jame­son and Shane Gan­non who both fin­ished on 21 and a half.

The Satur­day two ball am­brose round was con­tested by 13 play­ers.

The team of Steve Jame­son and Peter Ul­coq won the day with a com­bined score of 55 to beat the run­ner up team of Tom Jame­son and Brent Cham­bers who posted a score of 56.
