GAYN­DAH COM­PUTER AND FACE­BOOK WORK­SHOP FOR SE­NIORS, TO­DAY

The work­shop is at the CWA Hall in Gayn­dah, from 2pm. $5 cover charge. Free WiFi and BYO lap­tops (some lap­tops are avail­able for use if you don’t have one). The work­shop will cover ba­sic com­puter lit­er­acy and Face­book skills.

MT PERRY RACES, SATUR­DAY

The Mt Perry Races are tak­ing place this Satur­day, Novem­ber 12 at the Mt Perry Race­course from 11.30am. En­try into the event is $10 with chil­dren un­der 18 years free. Chil­dren's en­ter­tain­ment is also free and a full race sched­ule has been an­nounced. The new ad­di­tion of the Gold Pan Dis­cus is mak­ing its de­but and won’t want to be missed, along with the an­nual jocks plate. Night time live en­ter­tain­ment and free camp­ing avail­able.

HOY AND TOMBOLA AT COAL­STOUN LAKES HALL, SATUR­DAY

Satur­day, Novem­ber 12. Doors open 12.30pm for a 1.30pm start. Great prizes on of­fer, home baked af­ter­noon tea to en­joy along with a raf­fle and lucky door prize. For more in­for­ma­tion phone 4127 5191.

LAKE CANIA FISH­ING CLAS­SIC, SATUR­DAY

Com­menc­ing 4am Novem­ber 12 at Cania Dam and run­ning through un­til mid­day the next day. Pre­sen­ta­tions will be held at 12pm Novem­ber 13. The grand prize is an alu­minium tinny with mo­tor and trailer for the se­niors and a chil­dren’s kayak for the ju­niors. A can­teen and bar will be open on site for all par­tic­i­pates. BEAU­TI­FUL BLUES, SATUR­DAY
