THE state’s peak motoring body has revealed 28 pedestrians have died since the beginning of 2016, 11 more than the same time period last year. RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said to decrease the road toll all road users needed to take care on while driving. “It’s really shocking to see the number of pedestrians and motorcycles that feature in our road toll here,” Ms Ritchie said. “Unfortunately we see time and time again motorcyclists, pedestrians, cyclists and even cars overrepresented in the road toll.”
