Dress code ruled

NORTH Bur­nett res­i­dents will now have to of­fi­cially wear a shirt when en­ter­ing coun­cil build­ings, North Bur­nett Re­gional Coun­cil has de­cided. In a Pol­icy and Plan­ning meet­ing on Novem­ber 2, all seven coun­cil­lors voted for the new dress code pol­icy. The pol­icy has a min­i­mum dress re­quire­ment of a shirt, shorts and footwear. There is also a min­i­mum per­sonal hy­giene re­quire­ment of clean­li­ness, hy­giene to the min­i­mum stan­dard as ex­pected by com­mu­nity norms and hy­giene that does not dis­rupt oth­ers.
