LAWN BOWLS: Gayn­dah in­door bowls play­ers will com­pete against some Bin­jour lawn bowls play­ers on Novem­ber 17 from 7.30pm and the Gayn­dah play­ers are ready to play.

This past week’s Thurs­day night so­cial bowls saw the first tie in a num­ber of months with Beryl Palmer and Gary Tay­lor both post­ing a score of 3 wins and 58 points.

Sec­ond place went to Merv Thomp­son on 50 points and third was sealed up by Fred Maxwell af­ter he posted a fi­nal score of 42.

Phillip Gram­bower looks to be find­ing form again af­ter post­ing his to­tal score of 40 points to fin­ish just be­hind the lead­ing pack.

Dawn Bramer, Kit Ge­orge and Rene Tay­lor all fin­ished with scores of 34 each.

The Novem­ber 17 game against Bin­jour lawn bowlers will see them try their hand at in­door bowls, at­tempt­ing to over­come the dif­fer­ences.

All are wel­come to at­tend and cheer on the play­ers and even join the weekly Thurs­day night so­cial bowls.
