Representative selection under way
CRICKET: The team selection process has started for the representative cricket match between Mundubbera and Gayndah, which takes place at the close of the season.
Sides were picked on the basis that the batsman had at least two innings under their belt and bowlers had completed no less than 10 overs. These minimums will rise further in the season.
Currently the players on the bowling list for Mundubbera are: Ben Allen from the Bulls; Jake Dingle from the Bulls; Josh Allen from the Stingers; Mick Trevanian from the Stingers; and Bailey Kimber for the Colts.
Batsmen include: Troy Voss from the Stingers; Chey Tucker from the Stingers; Blake Augustine from the Stingers; Rob Beutel from the Colts; Peter Burchard from the Colts; and Tully Wilson from the Colts.
The Gayndah bowlers are made up of Breaden Darlington from the Rebels, Ben Slack from the Rebels, Matt Dent from the Bulls, Jesse George from the Wanderers and Mitch Ballin from the Wanderers.
And finally the Gayndah batsman on the list are Peter Whitehouse from the Rebels, Lance Baker from the Rebels, Jack George from the Wanderers, Brent Chambers from the Bulls, Lex Webster from the Rebels and Dave Sheppard from the Rebels.
Captains will be picked from the regular team captains who made the representative side and the list will continue to be updated each week until the end of the final regular season matches.
