Cricket lad­der up­date

CRICKET: Round eight of the Mun­dub­bera and Gayn­dah Se­nior Cricket Com­pe­ti­tion came to a close with the Rebels con­sol­i­dat­ing top spot on the lad­der with a win over the Wan­der­ers.

The Rebels con­tinue to hold a two-point lead over sec­ond place af­ter record­ing five wins and two losses to ac­cu­mu­late 17 points at this stage of the sea­son.

The Bulls hold on to sec­ond po­si­tion with 15 points from four wins and three losses, de­spite a re­cent loss to the Stingers at the week­end.

Af­ter that win over the Bulls the Stingers have ce­mented third place on the lad­der.

Four points clear of the next team, with four wins, two losses and 14 points.

In third place on the lad­der are the Stingers and the Wan­der­ers on 10 points from two wins and four losses, the most re­cent at the week­end.

The Colts round out the rest of the se­nior lad­der with one win, five losses and eight points af­ter their bye at the week­end.
