Vi­cary to lead club

JUSTIN Vi­cary is the new pres­i­dent of the Biggen­den So­cial Darts Club, elected to the post at the club’s an­nual meet­ing held be­fore its pre­sen­ta­tion din­ner.

The ex­ec­u­tive for the com­ing year is: vice-pres­i­dent Mel See­hars, club cap­tain Leanne Dun­can, sec­re­tary Beth Stralow and trea­surer Ella Wat­tie.

Out­go­ing pres­i­dent Ge­off Dun­can said dur­ing the year the club had played host to four home games with Cooloola Coast, Sleepy La­goon, Gold Dig­gers and South Bur­nett while mem­bers trav­elled away to Spor­ties, In­vi­ta­tional week­end and Sleepy La­goon.

He thanked his ex­ec­u­tive and com­mit­tee for all the hard work they put in each year.

To the play­ers, he said “with­out you we wouldn’t have a good darts club”.

In­com­ing pres­i­dent Justin Vi­cary said there were al­ready seven con­firmed teams for the 2017 sea­son which starts at the end of January at the Com­mer­cial Ho­tel.
