Got a love for gardening? The Mundubbera Garden Club will meet 9am at the Mundubbera Community Development Association to discuss all things gardening. 69 Stuart-Russell St, Mundubbera. What better way to spend a hot summer’s day than out watching the cricket? In Mundubbera, the Colts will take on the Bulls at the Martin Love Oval, while over in Gayndah the Wanderers will take on the Stingers at the Peter Dunn Oval. WURUMA DAM RESTOCKING AND FUN DAY SATURDAY, JANUARY 14
The Wuruma Dam Family Fun Open Day and Live Concert will be held at the dam on Saturday. The Wuruma Dam Fish Restocking Association will be releasing fingerlings at 9am. There will be a lucky draw at 10.30am and a $12 luncheon at noon. There will be red claw races at 3.30pm and an evening meal from 6pm as well as live music. CHILDREN’S STORY TIME TUESDAY, JANUARY 17
North Burnett Regional Council will host a Children’s Storytime and Craft Sessions in the Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Monto, Mundubbera and Mount Perry libraries. The session will have the theme “outdoors”. It starts at 10am. For more information contact the council on 1300 696 272. GOLF CLUB CLINIC TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, TO WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18
The Gayndah Golf Club will host a coaching clinic for children above six years old and of any skill level. The days will start about 9am and finish about 2.30pm.
