What bet­ter way to spend a hot sum­mer’s day than out watch­ing the cricket? In Mundubbera, the Colts will take on the Bulls at the Martin Love Oval, while over in Gayn­dah the Wan­der­ers will take on the Stingers at the Peter Dunn Oval. WURUMA DAM RESTOCKING AND FUN DAY SATUR­DAY, JAN­UARY 14

The Wuruma Dam Fam­ily Fun Open Day and Live Con­cert will be held at the dam on Satur­day. The Wuruma Dam Fish Restocking As­so­ci­a­tion will be re­leas­ing fin­ger­lings at 9am. There will be a lucky draw at 10.30am and a $12 lun­cheon at noon. There will be red claw races at 3.30pm and an evening meal from 6pm as well as live mu­sic. CHIL­DREN’S STORY TIME TUES­DAY, JAN­UARY 17

North Bur­nett Re­gional Coun­cil will host a Chil­dren’s Sto­ry­time and Craft Ses­sions in the Biggen­den, Eidsvold, Gayn­dah, Monto, Mundubbera and Mount Perry li­braries. The Gayn­dah Golf Club will host a coach­ing clinic for chil­dren above six years old and of any skill level. The days will start about 9am and fin­ish about 2.30pm.
