Brynestown and Gooroolba reunion

Central and North Burnett Times - - NEWS -

WITH the Gayndah Orange Festival on the 2017 calendar during the May long weekend, it is time for the Brynestown/ Gooroolba District reunion with visitors from far afield.

Starting at 9.30am on Sunday, April 30, at the Gooroolba Recreational Reserve, attendees are urged to spend the day having morning tea and lunch, catching up, sharing memories and rekindling some old friendships.

Don’t forget to bring a plate to assist with catering, and a chair.

There will be a formal welcome at 11am along with a roll call.

Organisers would appreciate any memorabilia as they are always looking for old photographs and stories to share and print.

Also, take the time to visit the recently installed plaques on the former schools in the area.

Camping at the reserve ground is enjoyed and encouraged but there are limited facilities.

For further information, phone Kev Murton 4161 6121, Max Seymour 4121 5737, Rod Seymour 4129 6447 or Bill Tinknell 5447 6041.
