Get Started this year

Central and North Burnett Times - - SPORT -

ROUND 9 Get Started vouchers became available yesterday through the State Government.

Get Started Vouchers provide up to $150 to young people who can’t afford to join a sport or recreation club, provided they or their parent or guardian hold a valid Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child’s name on it.

If your child is eligible for a voucher, they can be used to help pay for membership and participation fees at participating clubs.

Vouchers are allocated quickly under a first-come, first-served basis, so kids who get in quick are more likely to be approved.

Allocations will close when all vouchers are issued, or on March 29.

Most sporting clubs in the North Burnett area are eligible under the scheme.

Contact your club for more information.
